AND WHAT MATTERS

BLOCK 99.9% OF HARMFUL UV RAYS

What is fading?

The right side displays a cozy room with a tufted orange sofa, throw pillows, and a framed botanical artwork, with trees outside.

Fading is caused by four main factors in sunlight:
40% UV light, 25% solar heat, 25% visible sunlight and 10% Misc. Addressing these factors can significantly reduce fading. While total protection isn’t possible (even in museum environments), reducing fading can still significantly prolong the life and beauty of your belongings.

☀️What are UV Rays?

UV rays (ultraviolet rays) are a type of invisible light energy that predominantly comes from the sun. UV rays sit just beyond the violet part of visible light in the electromagnetic spectrum (which is why they’re called ultra-violet.)

⚠️ Why It Matters Indoors

Even inside your home, UVA rays can:

  • Fade your furniture, flooring, and artwork

  • Cause skin damage over time

  • Contribute to indoor overheating
